Cure Me or Kill Me
"you men eat your dinner, eat your pork and beans..I eat more chicken than any man ever seen, yeah yeah.."
I feel so fuc*ing bored today. it's one of those days that you feel so low and distressed for no particular reason..I woke up late...as usual. Had dinner and switched on the tv but nothing good there. I saw a couple of movie trailers. One trailer caught my attention, Kevin "k-pax" Spacey has a new film with Morgan Freeman and Justin Timberlake in the lead role (I think). Justin?! Oh well, I really couldn't care about Justin (no offense). Kevin Spacey happens to be one of my favorite character actors. One of the things that I really miss is going out and watching movies with my girlfriend. We would often discuss about the merits and goofs of the film on our way home and at night before hitting the sack.I miss our movie-marathons..
Ok, so that's something good to look forward to..But there's another hitch, it is dubbed in Italian. All hollywood films are always shown late.. months after their release in the U.S. (Una pa pinas e. tsk) Why? Because their still busy dubbing it in Italian.
Bastards.
Here's the link to the movie

Start Me Up
" You make a grown man cry..spread out the oil, the gasoline..I walk smooth..ride in a mean, mean machine..start it up.."
Just finished doin' some research for my lil bro. They were asked to submit a report about the brit rock group "Rolling Stones" by their music teacher as sort of punishment to the whole class. That includes their biography, discography and every single detail about the band.
Interesting but pretty peculiar in a way.. hmm..the maestra must be an avid fan of the group. Cool..personally, I like the The Stones more than the Beatles.
Trivia: The Stones' song "Start Me Up" was used by Microsoft to launch their Windows 95 operating system. Some critics noted that the group who epitomised the way that rock and roll commercialised earlier rhythm and blues by delivering it to a global audience provided the soundtrack for the corporation which did the same with software. (Critics of Windows also noted the song's lyric "You make a grown man cry.." )
The Rolling Stones had previously never licensed their music for commercial use. According to legend, Microsoft founder Bill Gates asked Jagger how much the rights to the song would cost; rather than refuse outright, Jagger replied with $13 million a sum that he thought would self-evidently be outrageously high. However, Gates, immediately agreed to the amount. - Wikipedia

The Rolling Stones' "Tongue and Lip Design" logo; mistakenly believed by many to have been designed by Andy Warhol; actually designed by John Pasche.
